Configuration needed for viewing UI Previews

When the prerequisites are met, proceed with the configuration steps needed for Control Desk to view UI Previews.

  1. Configuring the Resource Registry provider and endpoint
    A first step of the configuration is to specify information about how to connect to the Resource Registry.
  2. Configuring the OSLC Provider and endpoint for service providers
    There are several cases where configuration of an OSLC provider and endpoint might be required.
  3. Configuring mappings between Classifications and OSLC resource types
    A consumer application queries the Resource Registry for UI Preview links based on the rules that are defined in the CRTV.
  4. Additional mapping configuration for customized classifications
    You must configure custom OSLC resource mappings if you choose to modify the Best Practice CI and asset classifications or create new classifications.
  5. Enabling UI Previews
    Upon completion of the configuration steps, enable UI Previews.
