Configuring the Resource Registry provider and endpoint

A first step of the configuration is to specify information about how to connect to the Resource Registry.

Procedure

  1. Go to Integration > OSLC Providers
  2. Open RESOURCEREGISTRY, the Registry Services Resource Registry provider.
  3. The Public URI and Service Provider List URI initially contain a generic host and port number, and must be updated with the specific host and port number for the Registry Services server. Select the Change Public URI action.
  4. In the New Public URI field, replace the generic host and port with the specific host and port of the Registry Services environment, and click OK.
Note: Use caution when you enter the host URL as it is case-sensitive.
The Public URI and Service Provider URI fields now contain the specific Registry Services host and port.
  5. If the Resource Registry is configured for basic authorization, open the endpoint by clicking the >> menu next to the End Point field, and selecting Go To End Points.
Note: If you installed the Registry server with the default installation option, basic authorization is enabled.
  6. Enter the basic authorization credentials in the USERNAME and PASSWORD fields and save the endpoint.
  7. Click Return.
