Importing deployed asset data into IBM Control Desk with Integration Composer for IBM Endpoint Manager integrations
Use Integration Composer to import deployed asset data that is collected by IBM Endpoint Manager into IBM® Control Desk.
Integration Composer is an integration tool that you can use to import data that IBM Endpoint Manager collects about the IT assets that you have deployed in your enterprise. The following table summarizes the tasks you must complete to import data.
Task | Description |

(instructions for the Integration Composer user
interface) or Step 1: Defining your data source connections (instructions for using command prompts). When defining a data source, select the Deployed Asset data schema and specify the IBM DB2 JDBC Driver for your connection method. |
Define a Data Source Connection for the IBM Endpoint Manager database. | See the links in the preceding row for detailed instructions. When defining a data source, specify the IBM Endpoint Manager database and the IBM Endpoint Manager SUA API for your connection method. |
Define a mapping to map the source IBM Endpoint Manager data source to the target Control Desk data source. | For detailed instructions, see Step 2: Creating a mapping (instructions for the Integration Composer user interface) or Step 2: Creating a mapping (instructions for using command prompts). |
Execute the mapping to import data into IBM Control Desk. | For detailed instructions, see Step 4: Running a mapping. |
