Changes application
Use the Changes application to manage Changes to the configuration items in your IT environment and ensure that they support your established business practices. The tabs that are available in this application, and the Change operations that you can perform, depend on the edition of this product that you are using and the security groups to which you belong.

Change Schedule application
Use the Change Schedule application to view a list of all change and release work orders that are scheduled in your environment, along with a timeline that shows the scheduled start and finish times for each work order.

Change Implementation Schedule application
The Change Implementation Schedule application was provided in IBM® Tivoli® Change and Configuration Management Database (CCMDB) to enable you to assess the impact of a Change. In Control Desk, the application has been replaced by the Change Schedule application. It is strongly recommended that you use Change Schedule to view tasks and detect conflicts. However, you can continue to use Change Implementation Schedule, if you prefer to do so.

Change Window Calendars application
Use the Change Window Calendars application to define time periods within which configuration items (CIs) can be out of service for maintenance, upgrades, or other changes.

Blackout Periods application
Use the Blackout Periods application to create and manage a list of time periods during which caution must be applied in scheduling Changes. Blackout periods include days or weeks during which Changes can be detrimental to the business. You can specify approvers or approver groups to whom notifications are sent when Changes are scheduled during a Blackout Period. You can also restrict the scope of a Blackout Period to one or more configuration items (CIs).

Impact Analysis Configuration application
Administrators use the Impact Analysis Configuration application to view, modify, and create the rules that are used by the automated impact analysis engine to calculate the impacts of a Change to configuration items (CIs) around your data center. The application displays a list of all of the currently existing rules; when you add a new rule, it is added to the list.

Activities and Tasks application
Use this application to create, view, and edit implementation tasks that are used to complete Change processes and other processes, such as Release processes, in the data center.

Process Requests application
The Process Requests application is used to create, view, and modify IT process management requests.

Graphical Scheduling application
Use the Graphical Scheduling application to manage and schedule tasks for a Change. You can launch to this application directly from a Change that you are scheduling. You can also open the application from the Go To menu (Go To > Planning and Scheduling > Graphical Scheduling). After you create a schedule in the Graphical Scheduling application, you can use the Gantt view to manage the schedule graphically.
