Enabling the ability to view event details

Upon completion of the configuration steps, enable the ability to view event details in the user interface.

Procedure

  1. Go to System Configuration > Platform Configuration > System Properties.
  2. Click Filter next to Global Properties, and search for sccd.oslc.
  3. Several properties enable access to events in various parts of the user interface. To enable a property, click its arrow to view its details, and set Global Value to 1.

    Adds a View Federated Details button to the CI Summary tab of Configuration Items application.

    Adds a View Federated Details menu item to the Configuration Item field in the ticket applications:
    • Incidents application
    • Problems application
    • Service Requests application
    sccd.oslc.federateddata.topology.enabled
    Adds the following items to the CI Topology tab of the Configuration Items application:
    • View Federated Details action to the node's right-click menu
    • Show Events? check box to the Filter section
  4. Save the record.
  5. Select the check box next to the property you enabled.
  6. Select the common action, Live Refresh, and select OK in the Live Refresh dialog.
