In the Catalog Service Requests Approval application, you can approve, reject, or
reassign multiple catalog service requests at one time.
About this task
Complete the following steps to take action on service requests that are assigned to you for
approval.
Procedure
- In IBM® Control
Desk, go to . The List tab displays open catalog service requests that need your review and approval. You
can filter the list as needed. For example, to complete bulk approval of a entire shopping cart, you
can specify a cart number in the Cart Number column to filter the requests
for that cart.
- Select the check boxes for the service request approvals that you want to take action on.
- From the Common Actions menu, select Take
Action.
- In the Complete Workflow Assignment window, select from the following
options to take action on the service requests that you selected.

To approve the service request |
- Select the Accept check box.
- Click OK.

To reject the service request |
- Select the Reject check box.
- Click OK.

To reassign the service request |
- Click Reassign.
- In the Reassign window, select the person to assign the approval to.
- Optional: Enter information about the reassignment in the Memo
field.
- Optional: To send a notification about the reassignment, click New Row
in the Notifications section, specify a communication template, and provide an email address and
subject for the notification.
- Click OK.
