Deploy Adobe Acrobat X for Tivoli® Endpoint Manager Server 8.2 is a Software Deployment offering that uses the Tivoli Endpoint Manager version 8.2 for automated fulfillment.

The authorization process entails automatic approval from the manager of the requestor and from the Fulfillment Manager.
By default, there is no manual approval process for this offering.
Fulfillment
The fulfillment process begins after the catalog request is submitted (as it is automatically approved).
- Check for available Adobe Acrobat X licenses. If there are no licenses are available, an assignment is created for the Software License Managers group to order more licenses. maxadmin (or whoever the administrator is) is a member of this group.
- Assignment record is generated for the Task owner to initiate a software deployment task on IBM Endpoint Manager server manually.
- Task owner indicates successful or failed deployment; License count is decremented if deployment is successful.
- On successful deployment, a worklog entry is created that specifies whether the license is allocated now or was already allocated to the system.
Resource assignment
The license count for the Adobe Acrobat X software package is decremented if a successful deployment is indicated.
