Configuring the Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus OSLC Provider

A first step of the configuration is to specify information about how to connect to the Tivoli® Netcool/OMNIbus OSLC provider.

1. Go to Integration > OSLC Providers.
2. Select SCCDOMNIBUS, the Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus provider.
3. Notice that the Public URI and Service Provider List URI are installed with a generic host and port number. Update these values with the specific host and port number for the Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus server that is in the environment.
   1. Select the Change Public URI action.
   2. Copy the old URI into the new URI.
   3. Replace the generic host and port number with your Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus host and port.
   4. Click OK.
4. If Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus requires basic authentication, specify the credentials in the End Points application:
   1. Click >> next to the End Point field and select Go To End Points.
   2. Enter the basic authentication credentials in the USERNAME and PASSWORD fields.
   3. Clear the Allow Override? check box next to those fields.
   4. Save the record.
