Viewing more information using map tips and actions

You can obtain key information about a mapped record. The information that is displayed depends on how the map tips for that particular record are configured.

About this task

To see the additional information about a record, click on the record in the map. A pop-up window containing the information is displayed. For example, in the shipped product, by default the pop-up window for a CI shows the CI name and description, the classification, the address, the owner, and a More Information pull-down menu.

Use the More information menu to obtain additional data, such as asset details, work order assignments, and more. The exact data that is provided depends on how the map tips are configured.
