Using map tips to display more information
An administrator can use the map tips feature to control what is shown in the pop-up window displayed when you click a record in the map.
About this task
Map tips are specified on the Map Tips tab when a map record is open in the Map Manager application. Each type of record has a map tip template in which the contents of the more information pop-up are specified. For example, the map tip template for the WOCHANGE record type specifies what is displayed in the pop-up for a change record.
You can create or modify the Map tip template. You can use the existing dialogue or create your own dialog added as a Map Menu Item from Map Manager.
