Step 2: Configure the object structure for IT asset disposal imports

You can modify the object structure provided for IT asset disposal to accommodate your business needs.

Before you begin

By default, the ITASSETDISPOSAL object structure allows you to import data into the following Assets application fields:

Determine whether you want to exclude any of these fields when you import data and use the following procedure to exclude any that you do not want to populate.

The following steps describe how to enable the configure the object structure for IT asset disposal imports.

Procedure

  1. Click Go To > Integration > Object Structures.
  2. In the Object Structures application, display ITASSETDISPOSAL, the object structure for IT asset disposal imports.
  3. Select the Exclude/Include Fields action and, in the Exclude/Include Fields window, exclude any fields that you do not want to import data into.
  4. Click Save Object Structure.
