Using the Integration Composer command line interface

The Integration Composer command line interface provides an alternative, accessible method for users who want to transform and import inventory data about deployed hardware and software from a discovery tool into the Maximo® database.

The command line interface is intended to assist users with physical disabilities such as restricted mobility or limited vision. The command line interface is designed for use only with the standard data schemas and mappings delivered with the product. When using this interface, you cannot modify mappings or data schemas.

A graphical user interface (GUI) with some additional functionality is also available. It does provide the ability to modify mappings and data schemas. For more information about how to import discovery tool data with the GUI, refer to Using the Integration Composer graphical user interface.
