Tivoli Asset Discovery for z/OS catalog imports

Asset Discovery for z/OS® manages information about mainframe software products. Use the integration framework to import software catalog data from Asset Discovery for z/OS into Control Desk.

You can export the software catalog data and then import it into Control Desk on a regular schedule using the integration framework applications and scheduling features in the Cron Task Setup application. Control Desk includes integration framework components and cron task components that are designed to facilitate importing software catalog data from Asset Discovery for z/OS.

You can view the imported software catalog data in the Software Catalog application in Control Desk.
