About the integration adapters

An integration adapter is supplementary software provided by, and designed for use with, Integration Composer.

With the integration adapters, you can use Integration Composer to take previously discovered and collected source data from a discovery tool database, transform the data, and import it into the Maximo® database where it can be managed by Control Desk. The integration adapters supplied by IBM® predefine the mapping part of the transforming task for you.
