Actions
You can use actions to create tasks that will be completed automatically at a specified step in asset management. An automated task can create a new Maximo object or record; change the value of a field in a record; kick off a workflow that runs in the background; instruct a workflow to perform an operation at a specified time in the asset management process, and so on. An action is a process-specific item that supports a particular business processes.
The following table lists and describes the actions that are available as optional content:
