If you want to use the method that was used in Change and Configuration Management
Database for launching
to the TADDM console,
you must follow these steps to configure the function.
About this task
Before you follow this procedure, you must have the
TADDM properties
defined in the
Maximo® database.
Procedure
- Edit the Launch in Context XML Entries for TADDM. These entries are in this file on your administrative workstation:
install_home\maximo\tools\maximo\mxintegration\taddm\SyncTADDMLaunchEntries.xml
- Change all occurrences of $taddmWebLaunchHostname$ to
the value that you specified for the TADDM.ServerHostName System Property.
- Change all occurrences of $taddmServerHostname$ to
the value that you specified for the TADDM.ServerHostName System Property.
- Change all occurrences of $taddmServerPort$ to
the value that you specified for the TADDM.ServerPort System Property.
- Change all occurrences of $taddmWebLaunchPort$ to
the value that you specified for the TADDM.WebPort System Property.
- Save the file.
- Register the entries that you have defined.
- Verify that the application server MXServer is running.
- On the administrative workstation, issue this command:
MEAReg j2ee_host_name http_port maxadmin_user maxadmin_password was_rxa_user
was_rxa_password install_home\maximo\tools\maximo\mxintegration\taddm
where:
- j2ee_host_name is the fully qualified host
name of your J2EE server.
- maxadmin_user and maxadmin_password are
the name and password of the administrative user.
- rxa_user rxa_password are
the name and password for remote access to the J2EE server.
You should see a message saying "MEA Registration completed successfully."
- Verify that your registration was successful:
- Click .
- Expand the filter, enter TADDM in
the Property Name field, and press Enter.
- You should see eight TADDM launch
entries. Click each entry to verify the TADDM URL.
