Creating work records in configuration items
You create several types of work records records in the Configuration Items application.
About this task
While viewing a configuration item record, you can create
a work record of any of these types, and it will be associated with
the CI:
- Incident
- Problem
- Service Request
- Change
- Release
- Work order
Procedure
- In the Configuration Items application, select the configuration item for which you want to create a work record.
- Choose the Create action, and then choose the type of record you want to create from the menu choices.
- In the dialog box, provide information for reporting and a description of the work.
- Click OK.
