Assessing the impact of a CI outage

In the topology view, you can see which other configuration items would be affected by an outage of the current CI.

While viewing the Topology tab in the Configuration Items application, you can determine which other configuration items would be affected by an outage of the current CI. Check the Show impacted check box to view this information. Other CIs in the topology view display the impact icon to show that they would be affected by an outage.
