Auditing Change attribute updates
If you want to obtain a more granular log of updates to a Change record than is provided by the View History action, you can run the Electronic Audit Transactions report. This report enables you to audit one or more specific Change attributes, such as priority, urgency, or type.
About this task
Before you can run the Electronic Audit Transactions report, you must specify that you want to audit the database table that contains the attributes; you must also enable auditing for the attributes that you want to audit. You do so in the Database Configuration application. After you have specified the table and attributes to audit, you can run the report.

Running the Electronic Audit Transactions report
The Electronic Audit Transactions report used to audit Change attributes is available through the Database Configuration application.
Procedure
Perform these steps to access and run the Electronic Audit Transactions report to audit Change attributes:
- Open the Database Configuration application ( ).
- Select the Run Reports action in the navigation bar to open the Reports dialog.
- Click Electronic Audit Transactions to open the Request Page dialog.
- In the Request Page dialog, provide the information that is needed to obtain a report that shows the Change attribute updates that you want to see. You can specify an e-mail address to send the report to yourself and to other users who might want to see the report.
- Click Submit to run the report.
