Approving software contracts

Some features for software contract management can be applied only after the contract has been approved.

About this task

To approve a software contract, complete the steps required by your enterprise to obtain approval for the contract. After you obtain the appropriate approval, you can change the status of the software contract record to approved.

The following steps describe how to change the status of a software contract record to approved.

Procedure

  1. In the Software Contracts application, select the contract that you want to approve.
  2. Select the Change Status icon.
  3. In the New Status field, select Approved.
  4. Click OK.
