Adding attachments to workflows

Workflow Designer (Advanced) provides a built-in mechanism for adding documents and other information to workflows. Use the Attachment control to associate documents with each process in a workflow.

About this task

To add an attachment to a workflow:

Procedure

  1. Go to System Configuration > Platform Configuration > Workflow Designer (Advanced)
  2. Open a new Workflow process or an existing one for the Incident object.
  3. Click the Attachment icon to add an attachment file.
  4. Apply the Attachment Configuration.
  5. View the attachment file by clicking the Attachment icon within the Workflow Designer (Advanced).
