Viewing catalog requests

The View Catalog Requests application allows you to view specific information about requests, including shipping addresses (if required by the offering), and service request details.

About this task

Service Provider users can search for catalog requests for one or more customers. Access to a customer's catalog requests can be restricted to those authorized to view that customer's information

Procedure

  1. Go to Service Request Catalog > View Catalog Requests or click the My Requests link in the Offering Catalog application.
  2. In the View Catalog Requests application, search for the record you wish to view via the Search for Catalog Requests screen.
  3. In the Catalog Requests table window, click the request you want to view. The system retrieves the catalog request, with the Details sub-tab open.
  4. If you want to view information for specific line items, click the service request number in the Service Requests table. The Service Request Details dialog box is displayed. Here you can view the detail information for the item. The details section displays the item's service request number, status, asset, location, configuration item, target contact, target start, target finish, reported date, classification, description, summary, and details.
  5. Click OK.
  6. If you want to view attribute information associated with a service request, click the Show Attributes icon Show Attributes icon for the service request in the Service Requests window. A dialog is displayed identical to that shown when the offering was added to the cart in the Offering Catalog. You can then view the attribute values, or click Add to Favorites to add the item to your favorite offerings list.
