Changes in supported middleware

Be aware that there may be changes in the behavior of middleware software or platform operating systems supported by Control Desk version 7.6.

For example, if you upgrade SQL Server 2008 to SQL Server 2012, the default port used by Control Desk, port 1433, will remain open if it was available and in use for your Control Desk version 7.5.x deployment. However, if you install a new instance of SQL Server 2012, port 1433 is closed by default.
