Predefined queries

Predefined queries are provided that you can use to search for ticket records (incidents, problems, and service requests) that might require prompt attention.

The following table describes the predefined queries provided. These queries are available from the ticket applications (Service Requests, Incidents, and Problems applications). To run a predefined query, select the query from the Query dropdown menu.

Query Name Description
TSDHRFROMSTART Lists all ticket records in which the date and time shown in the Target Start field is no later than 1 hour from the current date and time. The Target Start field shows the date and time that work on the ticket is expected to start.
LOGLAST24 Lists all ticket records with work log entries that are less than 24 hours old. This query enables you to display ticket records that might need prompt attention because the work order logs have been recently updated.
QUERY TIMER Lists all ticket records that have running timers or that have activities with running timers. This query enables you to display ticket records on which work has started but is not yet finished.

Timers are used to keep track of the time spent on a ticket or the time spent on activities within the ticket. This time is called labor time. A running timer is a timer that has been started, but not yet ended.
