Creating activities

Activities specify the work needed to resolve an incident or a problem. You can create activities for tickets that you are working on.

Adding activities to a ticket
Activities specify the work needed to resolve an incident or a problem. These work activities are usually performed by another internal group or by a vendor, while an owner or owner group provides overall management of the incident. For each activity, you can assign an owner, assign labor, record actual labor time, change the status, and perform other actions.
Selecting an activity for a ticket
Activities specify the work needed to resolve an incident or a problem. You can select an existing activity from the Activities application and add it to a record.
Selecting labor for an activity
You can select labor for activities on an incident or a problem. When you select labor, you create a labor transaction for each labor code you select.
Apply Actions to Activities
You can apply actions to one or more activities associated with a ticket record.
