Taking ownership of a solution

You can take ownership of a solution at any time. This will assign you as the Owner.

To take ownership of a solution:

In the Solutions application, display the record you want to take ownership of.
On the Solution tab, click Take Ownership
on the toolbar (or Select Actions > Take Ownership).

The Owner field displays the currently logged in person. If the Owner Group field was assigned before, it will now be empty.
