Duplicating a solution

The quickest way to create a new solution is to duplicate an existing one, and then modify it as needed.

When you duplicate a solution record, the system copies all the information from the existing solution except the value in the Solution field. You use the Solutions application to duplicate a solution record.

  1. From the Solutions application, display or create a solution record.

  2. Select the Duplicate Solution action. The system creates a new solution using the information from the solution you duplicated.

  3. If the Solution field is empty, enter a value.

  4. Modify the solution as necessary.

  5. Click Save Solution.
