Updating a cart template

You can update a cart template as your business needs change.

About this task

The Update Template button appears on the Shopping Cart application if at least one cart template has been created and you have items in your shopping cart that were added using a template. The dialog allows you to select from a list of templates that are used in this cart, and the user whose offerings this template is created from. You can change the description here, and then select from the list of items in the cart to update the template. This will update the contents of the existing template with the offerings selected.

Procedure

  1. Click the Update Cart Template button. The Update Cart Template dialog is displayed.
  2. Select the Cart Template you wish to update and the individual offerings in your cart that you want included in the updated template. You can also change the cart template description.
  3. Click OK. The cart template is updated.
    Note: The contents of the cart template you have chosen to update are replaced (not merged) with the offerings in the cart that you selected from the Update Cart Template dialog.
  4. To verify your changes, click Empty Cart to clear the current cart, and then select the updated template by clicking the Add Template to Cart.
