My Requests pod

The My Requests pod displays the five most recent service requests created for, or affected by, the logged-in user, as well as the status of the logged-in user's service requests.

A color-coded status bar showing the user's total number of service requests and their statuses is displayed at the top of the My Requests pod.

When you click a service request entry in the pod, the View Service Request dialog displays the details of the service request, along with the status bar. The Approval Details tab displays the currently pending approval task, if any, for this request, plus a table showing approvals that have been completed. This enables you to see if your request needs an approval and follow up if necessary.

When you click the Show All My Requests... link, the My Requests dialog displays a table of service requests, with the following columns:
  • Description
  • Service Request
  • Status
  • Catalog Request ID
  • Status Date
  • Affected User

The Catalog Request ID (Cart ID) allows you to distinguish between service requests that were created from Catalog Requests in the Shopping Cart application and service requests created directly. Sorting the table by Catalog Request ID allows you to see all the service requests that belong to a particular cart.

You can sort the My Requests dialog table by clicking on any column header.

To filter the list:
  1. From the dropdown in the top right corner, select a column or columns from the list using the checkbox, and click OK.
  2. Type a value in the filter field.
  3. The filter searches for matches based on the selected column and value, and filters the list accordingly.

To view more details about a service request, double-click an entry in the table or select an entry in the table and click Show Details Show Details icon.

Clicking the Refresh Refresh icon updates the table with the latest information.

If using Internet Explorer, Microsoft Silverlight must be installed on the client machine in order for the My Requests status bar to appear.
