Configuring your J2EE server for single sign-on

Procedure

Follow these steps to configure the J2EE server to enable the single-sign-on capability:
  1. Log in to the WebSphere® Administration Console.
  2. Expand Security in the navigation area.
  3. Click Secure administration, applications and infrastructure.
  4. Under Authentication, expand Web Security.
  5. Choose SSO.
  6. Enter a domain name that contains all servers between which you want to authenticate, beginning with a period. For instance, if your Websphere server and TADDM installations share the domain ****.test.domain.com, then you would enter .test.domain.com in this field. If they are in different domains, for instance if TADDM is in ***.test.domain.com and Control Desk is in ***.ccmdb.domain.com, then you would enter .domain.com in this field.
  7. Click Apply and then OK to save your changes.
  8. Restart the Domain Manager and the MXServer application.
