Disabling integration with TADDM

You can disable the Definitive Media Library application from integrating with IBM® Tivoli® Application Dependency Discovery Manager (TADDM). If you do so, software images are not imported into the TADDM database. In addition, if you disable the TADDM integration with release management, you do not need to perform the steps for configuring integration with TADDM 7.2.x, even if you use other product functions that rely on TADDM integration, such as launching in context to TADDM.

About this task

You disable the Definitive Media Library application from integrating with TADDM by setting the pmrel.istaddminuse system property to 0. To do so, perform the following steps:

Procedure

Go to the System Properties application Go To > System Configuration > Platform Configuration > System Properties.
Click Filter, and type pmrel.istaddminuse in the Property Name field.
Expand the pmrel.istaddminuse property, type 0 (zero) in the Global Value field, and click to save the change.
Check the box beside the pmrel.istaddminuse property name, and click to refresh the system properties.
