Defining usage meters

You use the Usage Meters window in the Organizations application to define and modify usage meters.

About this task

The usage meters that you define can be associated with locations or assets and are used in the monthly billing of actual usage for those locations and assets. You cannot modify or delete a usage meter that is associated with a location, asset, or billing schedule.

Procedure

In the Organizations application, select the organization for which you want to define usage meters.
From the Select Action menu, select Service Provider Options > Usage Meters.
Add and modify the usage meters and their units of measure.
Save your changes.
