Adding more numeric attributes to an offering

There are 30 pre-defined numeric (NUMERIC) attributes for an offering. However, you can add more using these steps.

1. Go to System Configuration > Platform Configuration > Database Configuration
2. Place the cursor in the Object field, type either PMSCCRSPEC or PMSCCRSPEC2 depending on your space requirements, and press Enter.
3. To add attributes, look at the list on the Attributes tab to see what the last number is, then start numbering from there. For instance if you wish to add an additional NUMVALUE value, look to see the largest number attached to an attribute named NUMVALUExxx is. If the name is NUMVALUE30, then the next one should be NUMVALUE31. You must add attributes that match the size and description of the existing attributes. To add an NUMVALUE31, you must also add NUMSPEC31, NUMDOMAIN31, NUMDESC31 and a MEASUREUNITN31 using the same properties as the similar attributes. Naming of new attributes must be sequential.
4. Click Save.
5. Click the Manage Admin Mode action to turn Admin mode on.
6. Click Turn Admin Mode ON.
7. Click the Apply Configuration Changes action.
8. To turn Admin mode off , click the Manage Admin Mode action again.
9. Click Turn Admin Mode OFF.
