Connecting IBM Control Desk to IBM Endpoint Manager

To integrate IBM® Control Desk with IBM Endpoint Manager, configure a connection to the IBM Endpoint Manager server in the End Points application.

About this task

Complete the following steps to add the IEMSWDSERVER end point to Control Desk. This end point provides a connection to the IBM Endpoint Manager server.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Control Desk and go to Integration > End Points
  2. Under More Actions, select Configure Endpoint Manager.
  3. Enter a description for the IBM Endpoint Manager server and specify a host name and a port.
  4. Enter the IBM Endpoint Manager server credentials.
  5. Click Test to verify the connectivity.
  6. Save the end point.
  7. Import the IBM Endpoint Manager certificate by entering the WebSphere® Application Server credentials and specifying the node where the application server is running (the default server is MXServer).
