Creating an integration user

This topic lists the requirements that an integration user must meet for use with the Tivoli® Directory Integrator.

Before running the HP Service Manager Integration, you must first create a new user that Tivoli Directory Integrator (TDI) will use for authentication.

The new user profile must meet the following requirements:
  1. Have the authority to create, view and close all types of tickets through the HP Web Services interface.
  2. Reflect the same time zone as the TDI Server. For example, both the user profile and TDI must reside in the EST US Time Zone.
