Deleting a data source

Occasionally, you no longer need a data source. However, you cannot delete a data source if it is used in a mapping. You must first delete the related mapping. If a deleted data source is required for future use, you must add it again.

Before you begin

Close any open windows using the data source that you want to delete.

Procedure

  1. In the Integration Composer window, choose Delete Data Source and select one or more data source connections to delete. To do this:
    Option Description
Use Shift+click To select a series of data sources
Use Ctrl+click To select separate data sources
Click Select All To select the entire list
Click Deselect All To cancel the selection of all data sources in the list
  2. Click Delete and, in the Delete Data Source confirmation dialog box, click Yes.
