Viewing the history of attribute values

The attributes and values that you associate with a configuration item can change. You can view the attributes and values that were associated with a configuration item at a particular time.

1. In the Configuration Items application, display the configuration item for which you want to view the history of attribute values.
2. Choose the View Attribute Value History action. The history of the attribute values is displayed using the current date.
3. Optional: To view attributes value for a different date, complete these steps:
   1. Specify the date in the As of field.
   2. Click OK.
   The attributes and values that existed at the specified date and time are displayed.
4. View the information and click OK.
