Adding configuration items to a collection

To manage configuration items in groups, you can add one or multiple configuration items to a collection.

About this task

If you have created CI baselines, you can also add CIs that are members of a baseline to a collection.

Procedure

  1. On the List tab In the Configuration Items application, select the Select Records check box.
  2. Select the configuration items that you want to add to the collection.
  3. Choose the Add CIs to Collections action.
  4. In the Add CIs to Collections dialog box, specify a value for the collection.
  5. Click OK.
