Managing blocked users in Service Portal
Occasionally a user is blocked automatically by the system. For example, a user who exceeds the maximum number of login attempts can be blocked. Administrators can unblock users in the Service Portal user interface or in the standard product interface.
About this task
When a user is blocked, Service Portal displays the word blocked in the Status field in the user's profile and provides an Unblock button that administrators can click to unblock the user. Administrators can also unblock users by changing the user's status in the People application.
Complete the following steps to unblock a user in the Service Portal.
Procedure
- Log in to Service Portal and select .
- Select the person who is blocked.
- Click Unblock. The user is unblocked, and their status is set to Active.
