News bulletins in Control Desk Service Portal

News items that are displayed in the Self Service Center in Control Desk Service Portal are equivalent to the bulletins that are defined in the Bulletin Boards application in IBM Control Desk.

When a user logs in to the Self Service Center in Service Portal, the Home page displays a search box where users can search for solutions or news bulletins.

To create news items for Service Portal Self Service Center users, create bulletin records in the Bulletin Boards application in the standard IBM Control Desk interface.
