Customizing pages in Control Desk Service Portal
Administrators can use the Customize Pages function in Control Desk Service Portal to customize page layouts to meet their enterprise requirements.
The Customize Pages window provides a user interface that you can use to customize the body of Service Portal pages. The heading banner and menu bar cannot be changed with this feature.
There are three panels on the Customize Pages window:
- On the first panel, you can specify an existing page that you want to customize or you can create a new page. This panel also provides the widgets that you can add to a page, including container widgets, predefined widgets that are specific to a page that you select, and various other base building blocks.
- The second panel is a construction panel to which you can drag the widgets as you organize the page structure.
- On the third panel you can specify properties such as fields and labels for the widgets that you add to a page. The panel displays properties that are available for the widget that is selected in the construction panel.
