Setting up the default reconciliation task

Use the Reconciliation Tasks application to add new link rules to the default reconciliation task (optional), indicate that you want to do automated linking, and schedule when the cron task runs.

1. On the navigation bar, click GoTo > Administration > Reconciliation > Reconciliation Tasks.
2. Display and select the CCILinkAssetsAndCIs reconciliation task.
3. Optional: On the Reconciliation Tasks tab, in the Link Rules table window, click Select Link Rule and select any customized link rules that you want to add for automated linking.
4. In the Type of Reconciliation section, select for the link rule CI as Data Set 1 and select ASSET as Data Set 2 to indicate that you want to use this task for asset-CI linking. (Note that the data sets must be specified exactly this way; you cannot flip the CI and ASSET values.)
5. In the header section, in Schedule field click Set Schedule and set time interval for processing the reconciliation task. Set the schedule to meet the needs of your business; for example, hourly.
6. Click OK.
7. Click Save.
